On July 16, 2025, the KPI Secretary General assigned Assoc.Prof.Dr. Issara Sereewatthanawut, KPI Deputy Secretary General; and Mrs. Natchapat Amorngul, Director of Office of Innovation for Democracy, to welcome 2025 Futuru Lider Ba ASEAN of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste for visiting KPI.
The Deputy Secretary-General of the King Prajadhipok’s Institute introduced the institute’s overall operations, exchanged views on public administration, and answered questions. The Director of the Office of Innovation for Democracy also presented projects and research, including decentralization, local government, social responsibility, supporting new generations of leaders, gender equality, and the green economy.
The Futuru Lider Ba ASEAN (FLBA) program is a 12-month program organized by the Director General of ASEAN Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste. As the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste moves towards becoming an ASEAN member, it aims to prepare a new generation of leaders for ASEAN integration and long-term national development. Participants will come from various sectors, including the public, private, and civil society sectors, aged between 23 and 37. In addition to the workshops, they will also participate in study trips to ASEAN member countries from June to August 2025.
