Ambassador of Vietnam to Thailand Congratulates KPI Secretary-General and Discusses Academic Cooperation
On 2 October 2025 Assoc. Prof. Dr. Issara Sereewatthanawut, Secretary-General of the King Prajadhipok’s Institute (KPI), along with Prof. Dr. Kowit Phuang-ngam, Director of office of Civic Engagement and Political Inclusion, Ms. Teeraphan Jaiman, Director of the National Legislative College, and KPI staff, welcomed H.E. Mr. Pham Viet Hung, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Thailand, Mr. Ung Trong Khiem, First Secretary, and Ms. Pham Thi Kim Chi, Assistant Secretary. The visit served as a courtesy call to congratulate Dr. Issara on his appointment as the Secretary-General.
During the meeting, both parties discussed academic cooperation to exchange knowledge on the political and economic contexts of Thailand and Vietnam. The discussion also covered the organization of special lectures, seminars, and student study visits. The Ambassador expressed his readiness to coordinate and facilitate these initiatives to foster future collaboration.
