Australian Ambassador to Thailand Pays a Courtesy Call on KPI Secretary-General to Discuss International and Academic Cooperation
On 17 September 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Issara Sereewatthanawut, Secretary-General of the King Prajadhipok’s Institute (KPI), along with Mr. Nattapong Rodmee, Assistant Secretary-General, and directors of various KPI offices, welcomed H.E. Dr. Angela Macdonald PSM, the Australian Ambassador to Thailand, and her delegation.
The Australian delegation included Mr. Charles Prestidge-King, Political Counselor, Ms. Rose Fealy, Second Secretary, and Mr. Sarat Suebsantikul, Senior Political Analyst and Head of the Political-Economic Section.
During the visit, the Ambassador extended her congratulations to Dr. Issara on his appointment as Secretary-General and signed the institute’s guest book. The two parties engaged in a productive discussion covering foreign policy, the current political landscape, and potential avenues for academic collaboration between Australia and KPI.
