On February 24, 2025, the King Prajadhipok’s Institute (KPI) led by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Issara Sereewatthanawut, Deputy Secretary General; Mrs. Natchapatt Amorngul, Director of the Office of Innovation for Democracy; Mr. Packawat Atchariyapanya, Director of the College of Local Government Development; academic, and staff, welcomed the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS), South Korea led by Prof. Kim Bong Chul, Professor of Division of International Studies; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jompon Pitaksantayothin, Associate Professor of IT and Digital Tech Law; Dr. Euichan Shin, Lecturer of EU Studies; and Mr. Minsub Shim, Researcher and PhD Candidate in International Commerce, to visit KPI. The group discussed academic collaboration, such as seminars, research, or international conferences on democracy, comparative laws, or technological development. The HUFS group also presented their studies based on Thai-Korean issues: The Law on the Korea-Thailand Cooperation after COVID-19 by Prof. Kim Bong Chul, Korea-Thailand Relations and Future Cooperation by Dr. Euichan Shin, and K-Culture Goes Global: A Legal Framework Analysis by Mr. Minsub Shim.
