King Prajadhipok’s Institute Extends Congratulations on Portugal’s National Day, Strengthening Relations and Promoting Academic Cooperation
On 10 June 2026, Associate Professor Dr. Issara Sereewatthanawut, Secretary-General of the King Prajadhipok’s Institute, assigned Associate Professor Dr. Gamolporn Sonsri, Assistant Secretary-General, together with KPI staff, to represent the Institute at the celebration of Portugal’s National Day at the Embassy of Portugal in Bangkok. On this occasion, the Institute presented H.E. Mr. Luiz de Albuquerque Veloso, Ambassador of the Portuguese Republic to Thailand, a plant as a token of friendship.
The Institute’s participation reflected its commitment to strengthening ties with international organizations and institutions, while promoting academic cooperation, knowledge exchange, and capacity development in areas that contribute to democratic development.
The occasion also reaffirmed King Prajadhipok’s Institute’s commitment to expanding its network of international partnerships in support of mutual learning and development based on friendship, mutual understanding, and sustainable cooperation, thereby contributing to stronger diplomatic relations and international development in the years ahead.
