Online Seminar on “Enhancing the Capacity of Local Administrative Organizations to Reduce Educational Inequality”

On March 13, 2025, King Prajadhipok’s Institute (KPI)’s College of Local Government Development, and Friedrich Naumann Foundation (FNF), organized an online seminar on “Enhancing the Capacity of Local Administrative Organizations to Reduce Educational Inequality”. The seminar included Opening Remarks and Introduction speeches by Associate Professor Dr. Issara Sereewatthanawut, KPI Deputy Secretary-General; and special remarks on the Situation of Educational Inequality in Thailand and Efforts to Reduce Educational Inequality by Dr. Kraiyos Patrawart, Managing Director of the Equitable Education Fund (EEF) Thailand; Approaches to Reducing Educational Inequality by Local Administrative Organizations by Professor Emeritus Dr. Jarus Suwanwela, Expert in Decentralization and Local Innovations in Thailand; Managing Education in a Spatial Context to Reduce Inequality by Mr. Manu Siritham, Secretary-General of Pattani Provincial Administrative Organization; Reducing Educational Inequality in Malaysia by Ms. Ng Yeen Seen, Chief Executive Officer, Centre for Research, Advisory and Technology (CREATE); and Personalized Learning Management by Mrs. Amphon Chanthana-Phalin, Director of Municipality School 6, Chiang Rai Province.
