The Embassy of the Israel Pays a Courtesy Call on the Secretary-General of the King Prajadhipok’s Institute
On 3 December 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Issara Sereewatthanawut, Secretary-General of the King Prajadhipok’s Institute (KPI), together with Mr. Supanat Permpoonwiwat, Director of the Office of Peace and Good Governance, as well as scholars and staff of the institute, welcomed H.E. Dr. Alona Fisher-Kamm, Ambassador of Israel to Thailand, Mrs. Dvora Dorsman Yarkoni, Deputy Head of Mission and First Secretary, and Ms. Nattaroda Siriakhalap, Political Officer, from the Embassy of Israel to Thailand.
On the occasion of assuming her new post as Ambassador of Israel to Thailand, H.E. Dr. Alona Fisher-Kamm expressed her interest in learning about the mission and vision of KPI. In this regard, the secretary-general provided an overview of the institute’s key mandates, including its role as the national legislative think tank, as well as an introduction to the structure of Thailand’s parliamentary system and the agencies under the supervision of the National Assembly.
The Ambassador showed keen interest in the academic activities of KPI and expressed her willingness to support and promote academic cooperation. Potential areas of collaboration include the organization of academic seminars, exchanges of views, special lectures, and training workshops, particularly on issues related to climate change and governance in the Middle East.
