The Secretary-General of the King Prajadhipok’s Institute Participates in Discussion with the Prime Minister on Advancing Thailand’s Accession Process to the OECD
On December 8, 2025, at the Phra Phrom Hall, Thai Khu Fah Building, Government House, Associate Professor Dr. Issara Sereewatthanawut, Secretary-General of the King Prajadhipok’s Institute, participated in a discussion with Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of Thailand, Professor Dr. Borwornsak Uwanno, Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Ms. Suphajee Suthumpun, Minister of Commerce, and Mr. František Ružička, Deputy Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), on approaches to advancing Thailand’s accession process to OECD membership.
On this occasion, the prime minister presented Thailand’s OECD readiness assessment documents, along with a letter of intent to accede to the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention, demonstrating Thailand’s progress and preparedness toward OECD membership.
Following the discussion, the secretary-general attended a luncheon at the Blue Room, Santi Maitree Building, Government House, together with representatives from the Thai government and the OECD, to continue exchanging views on related issues.
